Interested in the scientific literature, but have little time to research new drugs and techniques that will shape your practice in the future? Using the American Society of Anesthesiologists' Self-Education and Evaluation (SEE) Program couldn't be easier! Our practicing-anesthesiologist editors review hundreds of articles on clinical anesthesia, critical care, and pain management from more than 40 professional journals, saving you time and effort.

Based on today's medical literature and emerging issues in anesthesiology, this self-study course is available as an annual subscription of two issues (January and July), each of which consists of 100 questions with detailed discussions and references.

SEE is available in two formats, both requiring Internet access to submit your answers and receive your CME credits:

Booklet
A printed version of the questions and discussions is mailed to you. Answers are submitted online and your CME credit cerificate is automatically generated and can be printed instantly. Beginning with the 2013 edition, select images will appear in color.

Web (Online)
Upon receipt of your paid subscription, you'll have instant access to the online SEE program. View the questions and discussions wherever you have Internet access, submit your answers, and generate and print your CME credit cerificate—all online.

Accreditation and Credit Designation Statements
The American Society of Anesthesiologists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The American Society of Anesthesiologists designates this enduring material for a maximum of 30 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Deadlines to Claim CME Credit:
SEE Volume 28B (2012): 08-31-2013
SEE Volume 29A (2013): 01-31-2014

Please note that CME credits will be issued based on the year in which the subscriber submits each completed issue, and not the year in which the issue was originally offered. For example, if the subscriber completes the 2013 SEE Volume 29B on January 10, 2014, then the credits for that issue will be awarded in 2014 and the ABA will apply the credits toward the 2014 MOCA® CME requirement.
